Dear Students,
Changes in health care, globalization, advances in science and technology require the training of qualified nurses, midwives and lecturers to provide health care based on scientific basis.
Since the beginning of our education in 1997-1998, our college brings conscious, equipped and expert nurses and midwives in their areas to health sector. In addition, I want to give the good news that we will soon begin the postgraduate training that we always aimed.
Our purpose with the academic staff of our school; is to train our nursing and midwifery students with professional qualifications, to train them as using widely the evidence-based clinical practices, has problem solving skills, has professional values and ethical decision-making skills and to train them as innovator members of the profession.
I want to call out to first year students who join us this year,
The occupation that you chose in order to serve people is unique one. I congratulate all of you because you begin nursing and midwifery. Welcome to our school. Our purpose is that all of you become a nurse and midwife which are going to make us proud of you and chose to do right thing rather than easy one and adopt learning as a principle.
