Asst. Prof.Hande CENGİZ AÇIL
BACKGROUND
Prof. Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Hande CENGİZ AÇIL completed her undergraduate education at Sakarya University School of Health, Department of Nursing in 2009, her master's degree in Istanbul University Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Surgical Nursing in 2013, and her doctorate education at Sakarya University Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing in 2018 with the thesis topic "Validity-Reliability Study of Postoperative Recovery Index and Evaluation of Recovery Status in Patients Undergoing Surgical Intervention."
Since 2013, she has been working at Sakarya University Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Surgical Nursing. In 2020, she was appointed as a Dr. Faculty Member in the same department. Surgical nursing, breast cancer nursing, and operating room nursing are among her areas of interest. She has international/national studies, book chapters, and papers in these fields. Sakarya University 2019 Science / Art, Young Scientist, and Periodic Achievement Awards Executive Committee has been awarded the Third Prize in the field of Health Sciences in the Young Scientist category.
Sakarya University Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing Quality Ambassador, she is also a member of many commissions. Since 2013, she has been working as the Vice President of the Nursing Department. In 2020, she was appointed as the Vice Dean.
She is married and has two children.
